SLEEPING UGLY

Do you know about Sleeping Beauty? Yeah, this is a new version story about Sleeping Beauty but with my own version: Sleeping Ugly.

Once upon a time, there’s a kingdom named Beauty. And in that day, was born a princess from that kingdom who named Aurora. Aurora has three sisters named Belle (who had a story and we will talk about it later, Beauty and The Prince), Jasmine (from Ala Din) and Rapunzel (from Tangled). As Aurora knows, all the princess should be pretty, but unfortunately she is not. She is not beautiful like her sisters, or her mother. She is not like her father too. Because this situation, all mirrors in this kingdom must be hided or destroyed, and Aurora can not see her face.

In Aurora ‘s 17th birthday party, her sister was dressing in their room until Aurora came to that room and saw Rapunzel hold the mirror. Aurora curious and want to know what she looks like. After a few times of debating and fighting, Aurora got the mirrors and she is so shock see her own face. She screamed so loud and then fell to the floor. Her sisters got panic. They are reporting the situation to their parents and call the doctor. The doctor came and said Aurora is coma. All people in that country shocked. Even if Aurora is not good in appearance but she has a good heart.

Day after day, doctor from all the world tried to make Aurora stay awake but nothing. Until the White Witch came to the kingdom to checking the princess condition. After that, she said that the princess should be kissed from someone who loves her to make the princess feels that she is loved.

And then, the King and the Queen ask to all guy in the kingdom who wants to kiss Aurora and most of all said they did not want to. And the King said he will give a special prize for the kisser and all guy said they do. But, the King has a qualification. That is the kisser should be love her. It is a difficult qualification and all guy can not pass it. Until, one guy came to the King. That is a Shanks, the sobber guy. From the first meeting, the King and the Queen do not like him but why they do not give him a chance to save their daughter.

So, the King asked to Shanks, does he love her daughter, and Shanks answered that he does not. But, Shanks continued, how could he loves her if he has not a time with Aurora. The King and the Queen nods. And they give Shanks a time for having a time with Aurora who has a coma. For the first time Shanks saw her, Shanks feels pity of her. He imagined that what if he is the person laying on there? Will his parents do the same like Aurora’s parents do? And after that, slowly Shanks loves her.

In the third day, Shanks kissed her, and she is awake. The King and the Queen and also the other princess so happy with that. Aurora saw Shanks with strangely even if he is her savior. The Queen came to Aurora and said, “even if you are not beautiful like me or like your sisters, however, you are still the princess and you are still my daughter. And do not feel you are not worth to be loved, you worth for it, girl. That is the one who loves you. Shanks.”

The princess cried so loud.

“also, we love you, sister. Mom and Dad love you too. Do not ever think that beauty is everything because it’s not. You are beautiful with your own way,” said Rapunzel with tears falling on her cheeks. The four sisters are hugging together. And both of Shanks and the King and the Queen was smiling.

Yeah, what they said is true. Do not ever think that because you are not beautiful, you are not worth to be loved. You are worth for it. Everyone worth it. Just be beautiful with your own way.
